Angel is an experienced Data and Evaluation Analyst with a demonstrated history of working in research and development in education, economics, and social sciences. He is a strong research professional with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Minor in Criminal Justice from California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH). His interest in evaluation research began during his time in the Positive Psychology Lab at CSUDH. There he worked on several research projects on campus including Graduate Writing in Excellence, Look for the Good Project, Campus Climate, and assisted graduates with their theses. Angel also worked for a community clinic in SLATE-Z where he was tasked with developing a program which helped justice-involved individuals reintegrate into their community. Furthermore, Angel worked with a renowned education nonprofit where he monitored and evaluated after-school programming for over 86 schools.
Angel is an LA native and has seen his hometown grow and change over the years. He is passionate about helping and empowering the SLATE-Z community.
In his free time, Angel enjoys board games, crime shows, and outdoor sports.
